Audrey McQueen Dalier

1927 - 2023

Audrey McQueen Dalier passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2023, at the age of 96. She was born April 2, 1927, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to Arthur U. McQueen and Myrtle Riley McQueen. She is preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband of 54 years, Karl A. Dalier; her sisters Dorothy M. Cavin and Elva Mae M. Barrow; her brothers Leon McQueen and Harold "Bo" McQueen; her brothers-in-law Sidney Cavin and Leonard Barrow; and her sister-in-law, Helen McQueen. Audrey is survived by her daughter, Janice D. LeBlanc; her sons Bruce A. Dalier and wife Lynn, and Philip A. Dalier; and her beloved grandchildren Jason Dalier, Justin Dalier and wife Lindsey, Ashley Dunn and husband Peter, Allison Roy and husband Jonathan; and great-grandchildren Natalie M. Dunn, Claire N. and Evan M. Dalier and Brandon and Natalie S. Roy. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Fay D. Milligan and Jackie L. McQueen; as well as numerous other loving family and friends. The family would like to thank St. Joseph Hospice of Baton Rouge and her wonderful caregivers that provided much attention and compassion to her through the years. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Funeral Services at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway in Baton Rouge on Friday, January 5, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. A Visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
