Robert Joseph “Robby” Poche, born December 16, 1995, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, passed away on February 4, 2026. He was lovingly cared for by Church Funeral Services.
Robby was a Baton Rouge native who spent much of his life surrounded by family, friends, and the things he loved most. He worked in construction for many years, including time with Superior Flooring, where he took pride in his work and the people he worked alongside.
Above all, Robby loved being with family. Whether it was gathering with loved ones, cheering on LSU during game days, or singing karaoke, he found joy in sharing moments and laughter with others. He had a wide circle of friends and a big heart, and he will be remembered for his easygoing nature and the way he made people feel welcome.
Robby was preceded in death by his parents, Peter J. Poche and Marian Poche, and his sister, Brenda Tourere and nephew Hank Tourere. He is also preceded in death by his grandparents Joe Haynes and Thelma Himel and Pearl and Ned Poche.
He is survived by his sister, Dee Ann Cardy; his brother, Peter “Jimmy” Poche, and sister-in-law, Dena Poche; his ex-wife, Dayna Poche; his brother-in-law, Henry Tourere, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of special friends who loved him deeply.
Funeral services will be held Thursday February 26th at 11:00 AM at Stevendale Baptist Church, 16545 Old Hammond Highway, Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Robby will be remembered for the love he had for his family, the joy he brought into everyday moments, and the memories he leaves behind with those who knew and loved him.
