With hearts broken yet full of love, we announce the birth and passing of our precious baby, Nora Jo Rushing, who was born sleeping on February 19, 2026. Though our time together was brief and quiet, Nora filled our lives with a love deeper than words can express.
From the moment we knew Nora was coming, she was cherished, dreamed of, and surrounded by hope.
Nora is survived by her parents, Courtney and Casey Rushing; brother, Rex Rushing; Grandparents, Vincent and Kelly Roddy, Janeen and Troy Duhe, Crystal and Joey Niquiporo, Bradley and Kimberly Moran; aunts and uncles, Kacie Bergeron, Cade Roddy, Reece Roddy, Sophia Roddy, Zayne Roddy, Blake Rushing; great grandparents, Irene Farris, Monroe Sr. and Barbara Rushing, as well as numerous cousins and other family members.
Nora is preceded in death by her grandfather, Monroe Rushing Jr.; great grandparents, Rex and Marion Freeman, Ray Farris, and Desmond and Theresa Roddy.
A private service to celebrate her life will be held at a later date.
