Audrey DeBerry Obituary
Mrs. DeBerry was born July 4, 1927 in Montgomery County, NC, the daughter of the late Rankin Thompson and the late Helen Harris Thompson.
Mrs. DeBerry was a graduate of Troy High School. She was retired from Fruit of the Loom Hosiery. She also worked at Wescare Center for Children.
She is survived by one daughter: Barbara Maness (Woody) of Mt. Gilead, NC and one son: Steve DeBerry (Brenda) of Biscoe, NC; four grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren; one sister: Patsy Thompson (Barb) of Roseville CA. She was preceded in death by her husband Wesley, two brothers: Fred and Jimmy Thompson; sister: Betty Ann Beaman.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 11:00 at Southside Cemetery, S Main St, Troy with Dr. Edward Lindsey officiating.
Memorials may be made to First Wesleyan Church, 1368 NC Highway 134 North, Troy, NC 27371.
