The family of Audrey Lee Kimble, 83, of St. Albans, announces that she passed away peacefully November 27, 2025, in St. Albans. She was born in St. Albans, March 30, 1942 to William and Elsie (Sweet) Hemingway. Audrey married Robert Kimble, November 27, 1985, and he predeceased her in 2012. Audrey was always known for being quiet and easy going about everything. In her younger years and later on she took care of many people both in their home and her home. She and her husband Jack ran the Homestead Care Home in St. Johnsbury for many years. She loved spending time with her family, friends, pets, and to do the adult coloring artwork, knitting and crochetting.
She is survived by her sisterHolly King of St. Albans, VT, her nieces and nephews Marie Rousseau, Laurie Cote, Gary Hemingway, Stacie Hemingway, Kaitlin Jones, Desiree Hemingway, and Shannon Shedrick, along with several great nieces and nephews.
Audrey was preceded in death by her parents William Hemingway Sr. and Elsie Hemingway, her husband Robert Kimble, siblings Wanda Brooks, William Hemingway Jr., Arthur Hemingway, nephews and nieces Terry Harkins, Sherri Buzzell, William Hemingway, and Angel Hemingway.
A Remembrance Gathering will be held at a later date to be determined.
