Audrey Christine Kocis

Audrey C Kocis, 88, of Hambden Township Ohio, passed away August 13, 2024, at Ohman Family Living Holly in Newbury, Ohio.
Audrey was born on October 17, 1935, in Cleveland, Ohio and lived most of her life in Hambden Township. Audrey and Duree were married on February 11, 1956. She retired from Great Lakes Cheese in Newbury Ohio. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, card playing, baking cookies for family and friends. Her greatest love was spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her sisters, Marilyn and Linda (Rick); her children, Duree, David, Robin (Gary), Judith (Joe), and Beth (Brett); as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, along with many life-long friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Dorothy (nee Speth) Grumney; beloved husband Duree B Kocis; brothers, Loren and Raymond; Daughter in laws, Susan Jaeger and Victoria Kocis; grandchildren, Chris and Alexander.
We thank the staff at Ohman Family Living at Holly for the exceptional care they provided our mother. We are deeply grateful.
Visitation and Funeral Service for Audrey will be held on Friday, August 23, 2024, at the Hambden Congregational Church, 13840 GAR Highway, Chardon, Ohio 44024. Visitation for friends and family will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will begin at 12:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Hambden Township Cemetery.
