Audrey Lugenia Dampier Dasher, of Valdosta, GA, passed peacefully from this life to be with Jesus, her Lord and Savior on September 18, 2025. She was a beautiful, sweet Christian lady, known for her always friendly smile when greeting everyone.

Audrey was born on January 6, 1930, to the late Talley Theodore and Cara Frances Prine Tomlinson in Valdosta, GA. She graduated from Valdosta High School where she met Harold L. Dampier and they were later married at First Baptist Church In Rossville, GA. They returned to Valdosta making their home where they raised two sons and were married for 39 years until Harold's death in 1986.

She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother to her family and enjoyed special friends June O'Neal, Liz McCall and Martha Tootle as well as many others during her lifetime. Audrey was a faithful member of Northside Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Thomas T. (Tommy) and Veronica (Ronnie) Dampier, of Valdosta, GA; her grandchildren, H. Brandon (Maryellen) Dampier, of Marietta, GA, Allison Bree (Jason) Peake, of Watkinsville, GA, Brent Howell (Dee Dee) Dampier, of Elwood, WV, Benjamin Thomas (Denice) Dampier, of Palm Desert, CA; thirteen great grandchildren; step children, Susan Merritt, of Atlanta, GA, Patti (Jim) Bethea, of Jacksonville, FL, Joe Dasher III, of Starke, FL; as well as several nieces and nephews and very special friend, Darlene Bellamy. Audrey was preceded in death by her husbands Harold L. Dampier, Joe V. Dasher, Jr.; son, Harold Karon (KD) Dampier; sister, Geraldine Sutphin; brothers, Byrd E. Tomlinson, John Talley Tomlinson; and stepmother, Dorothy Havencott Tomlinson.

The family is extremely grateful for the care and expression of love extended to Audrey by the management and staff of The Langdale Place and of Hospice of South Georgia, and all of the wonderful sitters who cared for "MeeMaw" during her final days.
