Rebecca Kent Childre, 76, passed away on Thursday, September 18, 2025, after a hard-fought battle with cancer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Catherine Kent; her sister, Linda Kent; her brother, Bill Kent; and her son-in-law, Chris Forte.
She is survived by her husband, Taylor Childre of Milledgeville, Georgia; her son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Cynthia Weldon of Pokhara, Nepal; her daughter, Angie Forte of Adel, Georgia; her grandsons, Cody Forte of Barney, Georgia, Case Forte of Adel, Georgia, and Dylan Green of Adel, Georgia; her sister, Barbara Wood Junger (Bud) of Locust Grove, Georgia; and her Nepali grandchildren, Himani, Krishna, Sharada, Anil, Ranjana, Rojina, Alishiba, and Anusha.
Per her request, a private service will be held.
