Audrey Hazel McClister

Audrey McClister (nee Peck), 89, of Vermilion, died Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at her home after a brief illness.
She was born September 14, 1933 in Leverett, MA and had been a Vermilion resident for the past 10 years moving from Stuart, FL.
Audrey was a veteran of the US Air Force serving as a Staff Sergeant.
Audrey and her husband, Thomas owned and operated Tours and Travel Service in Elyria where they worked as Travel Agents. She had also worked for Lorain County Children's Services, Lorain Co. Auditor's Office, and Community Development.
She enjoyed volunteering at the Humane Society and Meals on Wheels when she lived in Florida. She also loved to travel, work on puzzles, spend time with her family and her animals, especially her cat, Sweetie Boy.
She is survived by her son, Michael (Jan) McClister of Elyria; daughter, Mary Ann (James) Hamman of Vermilion; grandchildren, Jason, Justin, Melissa, Carrie, and Kevin; and 9 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas McClister; parents, Thomas and Hazel (nee Penney) Peck; brother, Floyd; and sisters, Eleanor Duncan, Gertrude Peterson, and Bernice Marsh.
Private services will be held.
