Audrey Gauthier "Gran" Monceret, she was a native of Ventress, LA, who resided in Walker, LA with her daughter Donna and son in law, Ricky Geter, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 8, 2025, at the age of 95.
Audrey was a very devoted mother and grandmother, whose greatest joy in life involved time spent with her daughter and grandchildren. She retired from Louisiana National Bank of Baton Rouge as Vice President of Commercial Loans (now Chase Bank) after 33 years of service. She enjoyed traveling when she was younger and had the pleasure of visiting many various states and countries.
She is survived by her daughter, Donna and her husband Ricky Geter, granddaughter Danielle (James) and husband Scott Thames, great grandchildren Mikayla, Cameron and Kyndall Counce, Scotty, Presley and Kynslee Thames. Also, numerous nieces and nephews and the entire Geter family, all of whom held a special place in her heart.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Nolan J. Monceret, her parents Eugene and Eugenia Gauthier, siblings Kirby, Jake, and Iva Gauthier and Rowena Gauthier Vince, granddaughter Audrilee James Counce and great granddaughter Kourtney Quinn.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15, 2025, from 10:00 am - 11:30 am at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 865 Hatchell Lane, Denham Springs, LA, with a Funeral Mass to begin at 11:30 am. Burial to be held at a later date at False River Memorial Park in New Roads, LA.
