William Albert "Will" Persick Jr

William "Bill" Albert Persick Jr., born in New Orleans and a resident of Walker, La passed away on Monday, February 16, 2026, at the age of 68. A true Cajun man, Bill loved family, fishing and cooking delicious meals. He also enjoyed motorcycles and his dogs. He was a nuclear engineer, traveling all over the country before retiring in Walker. He was a generous and loving husband, father, brother, uncle, friend and mentor. He is survived by his wife, Ellen Persick of 49 years, his son Will and wife Theresa Persick, along with his daughter Jennifer Fagan. He leaves behind three grandchildren: Dakota Fagan, Christian and Elly Persick along with three sisters: Peggy Persick Snitkin, Sadie Smiley, Bonnie & Jason Mote and Brent Bacon. He also leaves his in-laws: Bill & Mary Satterwhite, Alexa & Charlie Stahl and Brian & Paula Satterwhite. He was preceded in death by his parents Verda Evans & Bill Persick Sr, Patricia & Bill Satterwhite Sr., his sister Irene Bacon, nephews Jason Baggett and Richard Linxwiler, and brothers-in-law Charlie Baggett, Edward (Grizzly) Smiley and Harry Snidkin.
