Darrell Wayne McCahill

Darrell McCahill, age 62, passed away on February 9, 2026, in Denham Springs, Louisiana. He is survived by his loving wife of eighteen years, Belinda McCahill; his mother, Helen Duty (Carl); and his mother-in-law, Gladys Brady (James). He also leaves behind his sisters, Cathy Johnson and Beverly McCahill; his brothers, Vernon McCahill and Brian McCahill; his daughters, Wendy Hagan (Vincent) and Julie LeBlanc (Carlos); and his son, Brent LeBlanc. Darrell was a proud grandfather to Caleb James, Trenton Bookhardt, Roman LeBlanc, Jonas LeBlanc, Nathan LeBlanc, Lennox LeBlanc, Ava Hagan, Zoey Hagan, Alaina Hagan, Jayden Hagan, and Delilah Hagan. He is also survived by his niece, Benji Johnson, and his nephew, Hayden Johnson, along with many other beloved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Vincent McCahill; his nephew, Brian McCahill, Jr.; his father-in-law, Ronald "Ronnie" Brady; his sister-in-law, Theresa McCahill; his niece, Bridgette Fabre; and his grandparents, Louise Landry Harris, Clyde Harris, Vincent McCahill Sr., and Lenora LeBlanc McCahill. A service honoring Darrell's life will be held Friday, February 13, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Victory in Christ, 26012 Highway 42, Holden, Louisiana. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM at the church. Burial will take place at a later date. Darrell will be remembered for his love of fishing, visiting the casino, and most of all, spending time with his grandchildren.
