Audrey Mae Moore 70, of Rushville, IN, entered into eternal rest Jan. 5, 2026 after failing health.
She was born May 31, 1955 to the late Jack & Sharon Johnson.
She is survived by her husband Albert L. Moore whom she married Jan. 27, 1973. They raised two children and were married nearly 53 years. She was a hardworking and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
In addition to her husband Al, she is survived by her daughter Sheldra (Joreda) Moore of Greensburg, IN, and a brother Jackie Johnson of Seymour, IN; grandchildren, Wesley Moore & Angela Moore of Germany; Landon Moore of Connersville, IN, Carsyn Moore, Elexis, & Robert Ruble and Maeson Moore all of Greensburg, IN and Meagan and Brayleigh Welch, of New Castle, IN. Many bonus children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren will also miss her loving smiles.
Her parents preceded her in death and her son, Darryl Moore passed away in 2014.
She worked many years in the healthcare field before finally finding a home working at KB foods in 1996 and until her retirement in 2016. She was a supporter and captain for the Relay For Life program during her years at KB. Her passing has left a void in the hearts of her family, friends and many more whose lives were touch by her. Audrey enjoyed having her nails done with her daughter and watching a good game show or soap opera when she found the time. Audrey loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping with family and was always the life of the party.
Visitation will be January 9, 2026 from 10:00am - 2:00pm with the service following immediately afterwards at Todd Funeral Centre & Crematory in Rushville, Indiana with George Huff sharing words of comfort.
Memorials are asked to the American Cancer Society American Cancer Society P.O. Box 6704 Hagerstown, MD 21741 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
