Audrey Nelson Obituary
Audrey Elaine Nelson, 89, of Mount Washington, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, April 28, 2025.
She was born on March 6, 1936 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Vincent and Lucille (Veech) Elmore. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Leon Nelson, daughter, Angela Hope Shannon and brothers, Donald Martin Elmore, Kenneth Elmore and George Elmore.
Audrey is survived by her grandchildren, Lisa Rhodes (Tom), Todd Shannon (Katrina), Chad Shannon (Sara), seven great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and brother, Gene Alan Elmore.
Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until the time of the funeral service at 4:00 pm on Sunday, May 4, 2025 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive Louisville, KY 40243) with entombment at Resthaven Cemetery.
