Audrey deBoer Redmond

Audrey D. Redmond, age 88, passed away peacefully on August 29, 2025, at her residence in St. Augustine, surrounded by her loving family and her two precious dogs. Born in St. Augustine, Florida, Audrey was the cherished daughter of the late Andrew and Gladys deBoer. She was rooted in her faith from a young age, as a member of the Cathedral Parish of St. Augustine, raised by the Sister's of St. Joesph, and later a parishioner at Corpus Christi Catholic Church. Audrey had a vibrant spirit and a love for the arts. She appeared in movies, commercials, and was an active performer in local productions at the Limelight Theatre. A woman of many talents, Audrey was also an accomplished dart player, a skilled seamstress who lovingly created garments for her family, and a passionate gardener. She had an adventurous soul, enjoying travel and the occasional visit to the slots. Deeply patriotic, Audrey held a profound love for her country. Family meant everything to Audrey. She played a vital and loving role in the lives of her grandchildren, particularly Michelle and Tommy Pricenor, who were blessed by her constant presence and support. Her home was also shared with her beloved fur babies, Mandy and Chili Pepper. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Lora Redmond Pricenor (Ron) of St. Augustine; her grandchildren, Michelle and Thomas "Tommy" Pricenor, Kimberly, Michael Jr., Lauren, and Matthew Redmond; and many extended family members and friends whose lives she touched, especially her Niece Josie McElroy, Frank McElroy, and their families. Audrey was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas B. Redmond; her son, Michael A. Redmond; and her parents, Andrew and Gladys deBoer. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at St. Johns Family Funeral Home. Interment will follow at San Lorenzo Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully accepted. Audrey will be remembered for her creative spirit, her fierce love of family, and the joyful energy she brought to every room she entered. Audrey also stated that above all, she wanted to be remembered as her husband, Tom, stated in his last days to her, "I don't know what many say the definition of love is, but for me, you are it!"
