Audrey Grace Sanborn

Mrs. Audrey Grace Sanborn died suddenly June 9, 2008 in Newport. She was born March 12, 1927 in Derby a daughter of Harris and Goldie (McDonald) Crowe. On December 27, 1950 she married Roy Sanborn who predeceased her February 9, 1997. She attended Derby Elementary and graduated from Derby Academy in 1945. She worked at A.C. P. office in Newport for several years. She and her late husband owned a lawn mower and snow machine business in Derby for twelve years. Later on she worked as a baker at North County Junior High School for nine years. She is survived by two children: Donna Grenier and her companion Michael Vigeant of Derby and Jeffrey Sanborn of Derby; by two grandchildren: Jennifer Grenier and Christopher Sanborn and by several nieces and nephews. A sister Coleen Derohen of Derby also survives her. A sister Beverly Morse predeceased her. Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
