Audrey Sue Hester Wallace, 82, of Athens, TN went to be with the Lord on January 29, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.
Sue loved baking homemade stack fruit cakes and giving them to those she loved, or even complete strangers at times! She retired from Life Care of Athens, working in their dietary department. She will be truly missed by all those that knew her.
Preceded in death by an infant son; parents, Lee and Emma Hester; and grandson, Caleb Daniel Wallace.
Survivors include her son, Randy Wallace (Margie); grandchildren, Taylor Adams (Amber) and Andrew Wallce (Stephanie); great grandchild, John Adams; brothers, Osbourne Hester and Ronnie Hester; and many nieces, nephews and other loved family members.
Funeral Services will be held Friday January 31, 2025 at Companion Funeral Home of Athens at 4pm with Pastor Mark Latham officiating. A Visitation will be held prior from 2-4pm. A Graveside Service will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery of Athens.
