Mrs. Audrey Pearl (Holden) White, age 86, of Ellijay, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2026.

Audrey was born March 2, 1940, in Gilmer County to the late Toy and the late Candy (Stover) Holden.

Audrey graduated from Gilmer High School in 1961. She soon moved to Atlanta where she started working at Genuine Parts Company. She married the love of her life, employment relocated them to Jacksonville FL. In 1979, they moved back to the mountains of Ellijay after her father's passing. Audrey was employed by the Gilmer County School System for over 20 years. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. Audrey had a gentle spirit and saw the good in everyone. She will be remembered by her loving kind words and devotion to her family.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband Grady Leon White. In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings. Franklin, Johnnie, Bobby, Morris Holden, Kittrie (Holden) Woody, and Betty Jo Bates. Audrey was the 5th born of 7 children.

She is survived by her children Kevan White of Ellijay and Heather (Rex) Davis of Ellijay. Audrey was blessed to be stepmother to Christi White King and Darin White. She loved them dearly. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, March 8th at 1 pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. John Reece and Rev. Larry Stover officiating. The following gentlemen will be serving as pallbearers: Jesse White, Austin White, Josh White, Jacob Pritchett, Holden Banks, Ryan Davis, and Randy Starr. Interment will follow in the New Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 7th from 4 pm until 8 pm at the funeral home and again on Sunday, March 8th from 11am until the service hour at 1pm at the funeral home.

Flowers are accepted, but the family respectfully asks that no food be brought to the funeral home.
