Audrey Ellisor Sease, 71, of Newberry, wife of Thomas E. Sease, Jr., died Thursday, February 26, 2026, at her home.
Born on September 26, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Frank Owens and Reba Dailey Ellisor. Mrs. Sease worked for many years in banking, retiring from Bank of America, before working in billing and insurance for Pinner Clinic in Peak. In retirement, she began her most beloved job of all, caring for her grandchildren. She was a member of St. Philip's Lutheran Church in Newberry and also enjoyed attending services at Cross Point Church in Prosperity.
In addition to her husband of 50 years, Mrs. Sease is also survived by her daughter, Julie Sease (John) Dennis and four grandchildren, Luke and Mark Thomas Dennis and Addison and Avery Sease. She was predeceased by her son, Franklin E. Sease, and a sister, Sara Ellen Shealy.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday, March 1, 2026, at St. Philip's Lutheran Church by the Rev. Terry Amick. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 4:00 – 6:00 pm at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the church or the church cemetery fund, 2461 St. Philip's Church Road, Newberry, SC 29108.
Active pallbearers will be Jamie Dailey, Von Dennis, Chris Jordan, Van O’Cain, Charles Ringer, Clifford Lee Shealy, Wayne Wicker, and Randall Waites.
The family would like to give special thanks to the staff Springfield Place, Angel Care, McLeod Home Care and Three Oaks Hospice for their loving care.
The family will be at the home of John and Julie Dennis, 13082 US Highway 176, Newberry.
