Audry C Shrader (Claudine)
Sept 1 1955-Sept 19 2025
There is a light at the end of the tunnel
There is love that is awaiting me there
All cares and troubles I will leave behind
As I climb the golden stair
There is a light at the end of the tunnel
There to meet my Lord face to face
And I will be in the home that I longed for
Saved by his heavenly grace.
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother and sister, Claudine Shrader, who passed away peacefully with family by her side on September 19 2025 at the age of 70. Born on September 1, 1955 in Bluefield West Virginia to Alfred and Jean Lusk (Bailey). She was a woman of immense strength and will, who fought a long and courageous battle.
A lifelong resident of Montcalm, Claudine lived a life dedicated to her family, raising strong and beautiful daughters who were with her for countless days in recent times. She found great joy in music, playing cards, time with family and friends and her grandsons. Her legacy of courage and determination will forever touch the lives of all who knew her. She was a devoted wife and companion to her husband Nathan for over 50 years. In her later years her advice was to not wait , do what you want to while you can, advice that will surely be quoted and followed for years to come.
She was preceded in death by husband Nathan Shrader, Father and Mother Alfred and Jean Lusk, brothers Michael and Curtis Lusk, sisters Rita White and Debbie Evans and special Brother In Law Jeff Evans. She is survived by her loving children, Heather (Mike) Meredith of Johnson City TN , Jeanne (Andy) Burns of Beverly WV., her adored grandsons Andrew (Allison) Meredith, Trey Meredith and Aiden Burns , great grandchildren Isaiah and Ava Hanson. Brother Rodney Lusk of Bluefield Sisters Betty Lusk of Bluefield and Sherrie Conley of Montcalm . A host of nieces and nephews. Niece Samantha Lusk, who was a devoted helper for many years and other family and friends. Caregivers Robin, Katelyn and Becky and the team at Compassus Hospice. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations in her name be made to Compassus Hospice in Princeton WV. In keeping with her wishes she will be cremated and a family memorial will be held at a later date.
