Audry May Thon

Audry May Thon, 94, of Fargo, ND passed away peacefully on June 21, 2025 in her home.

Born on May 1, 1931, the daughter of Lawrence J. Stedje and Regina (Halvorson) Stedje. At a very early age Audry took to travel and adventure. Her father shared his love of travel with her, and she was instantly hooked. Late in life she often told stories about their cross-country road trips and how much she enjoyed them. After high school Audry began a career as a bookkeeper, her attention to detail and work ethic made her a valuable employee. She loved her work and continued into her early 70’s. Audry’s love of travel became a way of life with her husband Howard. Their love of travel took them on trips all around the world. They were active members of the El Zagel Shriners and were very dedicated to the Shriners’ mission. Near the time of Howard’s death, Audry met Michelle Bresnahan who would become a very special friend. It wasn’t long, and Audry was creating a love of travel in Michelle’s heart. They were blessed with many trips together. In return, Michelle shared her family with Audry, and she developed a fondness in her heart for all of them, especially Teddy who will turn 2 in September.

Audry lived a full life; she was loved greatly and will be missed dearly.
