August Eichert Obituary
It is with deep sorrow and much love, that we announce August (Augie) Carl Eichert, 69, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 26, 2022. Augie is predeceased by his parents Martha (Engleman) Eichert and Karl Eichert and is survived by his son Daniel Eichert.
Augie was born and raised in Middletown, CT. Augie graduated from Middletown High School Class of 1971. He continued his education and received his HVAC Technician License. As a teenager and young adult, Augie worked at Morello's Gulf Station with a lot of friends and went on to work for Bacon Brothers and ACE Hardware in Middletown for many years. He retired from the Russell Library (building maintenance), City of Middletown. Augie loved working on cars, motorcycles and boats. He loved sports, enjoyed taking adventurous trips and taking on odd jobs. Augie will be remembered and missed by his close friends and loved ones.
We'd like to thank the staff at Autumn Lake Healthcare of New Britain, CT for their care and compassion of Augie.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, December 10, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Pine Grove Cemetery, 857 South Main Street, Middletown, CT. To share memories or send condolences, please visit www.doolittlefuneralservice.com.

Condolences to Augie´s family. He and I went to MHS together and our paths crossed several times. I remember him as having a gentle spirit, a kind heart, a sweet smile and sensible character. He always had a nice car with a great sound system!

Auger is a dear old friend of of mine and will be greatly missed. I have many wonderful memories of Angie in our young years, fishing, playing softball, and just hanging out with A friend. He will be greatly missed. May he rest in peace.
