August Otto "Augie" Naumann

August (Augie) Otto Naumann, 84 of Woodbridge passed away on Monday January 20, 2026 at his home.

Born in Glendale, in the New York City borough of Queens, New York to the late Erich Karl Naumann and Anna (Heinze) Naumann.

Augie retired many years ago from ABD Electric in Woodbridge after a long career as an electrician. He was also U.S. Army veteran and served during the Vietnam War.

Augie was an avid salt water fisherman and history buff. He enjoyed many summers spending time with his family at Sandy Hook Gateway National Recreation Area and visiting the many historical sites throughout New Jersey.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 58 years, Claire (Linszky) his brother in law, Peter J. Linsky, his brother Erich Karl Naumann and twin infant sister. Surviving are his daughter and son in law, Barbara and Mark Sendelbach of Lafayette; sister in law, Patricia Linszky of Farmingdale and his two loyal companions, feline sisters, Sissy and Peanut.

Funeral services are private and entrusted to the care of GERITY & CHUBENKO FUNERAL HOME, 411 Amboy Avenue, Woodbridge, NJ 07095. Interment will take place in Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veteran Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ.
