Laszlo Harangozo Obituary
Laszlo was born in Kisbereny, Hungary and participated in the Hungarian Revolution in 1956, later fleeing the country due to communism. He met and married the late Helen (Nagy) Harangozo and spent over 62 years together before her passing. Together, they owned Elite Cleaners in Woodbridge for over 40 years. Laszlo was a member of the Hungarian American Citizens Club of Woodbridge, was a devoted parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Carmel R.C. Church and was always proud of his Hungarian heritage.
Laszlo was predeceased by his wife, Helen; his parents, Rozalia and Ferenc Harangozo; brother and sister in law, Jozsef and Maria Harangozo; brother in law, Charles Moricz and nephew, John Moricz. Surviving are his son, Laszlo Harangozo, Jr. with his wife Cecilia; grandson, Laszlo Harangozo, III.; sister in law, Margaret Moricz; niece, Czeichner Valeria and family of Budapest; nephews, Otto Harangozo and family of Kaposvar and Charles Moricz and family of Port Reading, NJ.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026 from 8:30am to 10:30am at GERITY & CHUBENKO FUNERAL HOME, 411 Amboy Avenue, Woodbridge followed by an 11am Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Carmel R.C. Church in Woodbridge. Interment will follow at St. James Cemetery, Woodbridge.

I wasn't personal friends but I knew the family from being a customer at their dry cleaner. Lovely family, always friendly and so helpful. My daughter was a cheerleader and no matter how late she brought in her uniform, he made sure she got it back in plenty of time for a game. Deepest sympathy to family.
