Augustine Gonzales Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Castillo Funeral Home on Mar. 27, 2023.
"Baby Augie"
Augustine Michael "Baby Augie" Gonzales, born on August 19, 2005, was called to be with the Lord March 22, 2023.
Among family and friends, he was known for his good sense of humor and his contagious laughter. Augie was very hard working, and so motivated as soon as he was able to work. He loved his job at J. Prime Steakhouse, where all his coworkers could always feel his positive energy. When he wasn't working, he was inspired by his best friend, Ricardo, to learn to play the guitar so they could play together. He also loved skateboarding and hanging around with his friends. He leaves behind his 3 life-long friends, Ricardo, Thomas and Chris, who he had amazing plans with after high school.
Augie was very goal oriented and had plans for his future. He was preparing for prom and excited for graduation this year. He wanted to be a great role model to his brother, Mason, and his sister, Karalynn. He wanted to leave a mark on the world that they could be proud of and look up to. Most of all, he was destined to make his mother and father proud of the son they raised. The way he brightened up the room, his infectious smile, his silly attitude, his love, his hugs and kisses, his word of wisdom, and his over all presence in the world is what will be missed the most.
Baby Augie is loved and will be missed by his mother and father, Stephanie and Augustine Gonzales; his siblings, Mason Sotelo and Karalynn Gonzales; uncles, Adam & Andrew Gonzales, David Loera and Gabe Garcia. He will also be missed by his beloved aunts, Mae Garcia, Jessica Gonzales, Terri and Valerie Sotelo and Sabrina Zertuche; his grandparents, Mercy and Eli Botello; grandmother, Caroline Juarez; all his cousins, the D.J's and Levi and Ivy Ramos; numerous friends; and his Class of 2023.
