Lyndonville: Augustine "Gus" Tranello, Jr. age 67, passed away peacefully at his home on December 25, 2025. He was born November 4, 1958 in Rochester to Jean and Augustine Tranello, Sr.
Gus was an avid outdoorsman, spending time hunting and camping all over the area. He enjoyed listening to classic rock and formerly worked as a forklift operator at Mizkan in Lyndonville.
Besides his mother, Gus was predeceased by his sister Mary Jean Tranello, granddaughter Anna Tranello and daughter-in-law Samantha Tranello.
Gus is survived by his loving partner Julie Walker, children Antonio Tranello, Staci (Sean) Milligan, Gina Tranello, father Augustine "Augie" Tranello, Sr., siblings Joseph (Jodi) Tranello, Deborah (Elaine) Tranello, several grandchildren, other family members and close friends.
A celebration of Gus's life will be announced in the spring time.
Gus's arrangements have been entrusted to the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Home 21 West Ave. Albion, NY 14411.
