Obituary of Aurora A. Chiarolanzio

Aurora Ann Chiarolanzio (née Marelli), a cherished resident of Florham Park, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at the remarkable age of 94. A devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Aurora's life was a testament to love, family and faith.

Aurora is survived by her daughter-in-law, Mary Lou Chiarolanzio (née Romanelli); one sister, Linda Blaine; her seven cherished grandchildren, Melissa Chiarolanzio, Andrea Austin and her husband Paul, Joseph Chiarolanzio and his wife Jessica, Donna Riola and her husband Ken, Nicole Crubaugh and her husband Jason, Tara Salomone and her husband Dave and Michael John Chiarolanzio; ten great-grandchildren, Daisy, Gabriel, Anthony, Maleah, Michael, Ava, Olivia, Brody, Elli and Cara; several nieces and nephews; and many extended family members.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph N. Chiarolanzio; her three sons, Michael Chiarolanzio, John Chiarolanzio & Joseph A. Chiarolanzio; one sister, Diane Burans; and one brother, Michael Marelli.

Born in Chester, NJ, Aurora was raised in Madison. It was at the Forum Social Club of Madison that she first met her beloved husband, Joseph N. Chiarolanzio. After their marriage, they settled in Florham Park, where they raised their family with unwavering devotion.

A woman of deep faith, Aurora was an active member of Holy Family Church in Florham Park for many years. Her life revolved around her family, and she took immense pride in her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were the light of her life.

Aurora was known for her sweet tooth, with a particular fondness for chocolate, and she found joy in the pages of the many books she read throughout her life. Her kindness and generosity touched the lives of all who knew her, and her warm heart will be profoundly missed.

Aurora's legacy of love and compassion will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. She leaves behind treasured memories that will be cherished forever.

Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation for Aurora on Monday, September 29, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Madison Memorial Home, 159 Main Street, Madison.
