Austin Barnard Obituary
"Ausy-Boy", as he was affectionately known, was a hardworking student that attended St. James High School. In his free time, Austin loved working out and spending time at the beach, even though he was not particularly fond of the sand. He loved playing football and basketball. Above all else, Austin loved his family and friends with his whole heart. He will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.
Left to cherish Austin's memory are his adoring mother, Ashley Dawn Brown and her significant other, David Clark of Murrells Inlet; a brother William "Willy Boy" Barnard, III of Murrells Inlet; maternal grandfather, Charlie Brown and his significant other, Noel Stamp of Surfside Beach; Uncle, Chad Brown and his wife, Amanda along with their two daughters, Layla and Twyla of Surfside; great grandmother, Carol Brown of West Virginia; paternal grandparents, Glinda and Norman Reed of Myrtle Beach; Uncle, James Bernard of Myrtle Beach; girlfriend, Ania; and a large extended family consisting of uncles, aunts, cousins, and many, many friends and classmates.
Austin is welcomed into heaven by his father, William Keith Barnard, II; maternal grandmother, Twyla Dawn Brown and "paw-paw" Thomas.
A Celebration of Austin's life will be held on Sunday, January 7, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Burroughs Funeral Home, 3558 Old Kings Highway, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576. The family will gather to greet friends from 11:00 am until the time of the service.
The family has requested that memorial donations in Austin's name be made to the GoFundMe that has been set up to help alleviate the financial burden of funeral expenses, https://www.gofundme.com/f/in-memory-of-austin-barnard

Austin used to come to my house all the time with Logan to play football with my little brother Johnathan!! Austin was a great kid. Very respectful and kind to all. That boy was going places in this world.... He would mess around with my boyfriend and play games.... We will be making it to his service! Rest easy buddy
