Austin Michael Collins

Austin Michael Collins, 30, of Frankfort, passed away unexpectedly Friday, February 7, 2025, at his residence. He was born July 7, 1994, in Frankfort to Josh Collins and Jen Weaver-Moon. 

Austin was a graduate of Frankfort High School, class of 2013. He worked for Frito Lay. He enjoyed playing video games, camping, hiking. He was an animal lover. Austin was a simple man and will be remembered for his positive outlook on life, his encouragement for others, and his heart for helping. He enjoyed life, but above all he loved his family, especially his sister, and loved making memories with them.

Austin is survived by his father, Josh Collins; mother, Jen (Christie Moon) Weaver- Moon; siblings, Makala (Andrew) Jobe, Skyler (Tara) Collins, Tyra Collins, and Tiara Collins; grandmother, Tanja Weaver; grandfather, Paul Collins; special nieces and nephews, Calvin Jobe, Daisy Jobe, Florence Jobe; and several other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. 

He was preceded in death by grandfather, Larry Weaver; grandmother, Toni Collins, grandfather, Chuck Ludwig; and beloved fur baby, Sasha.

A celebration of life will be held Thursday, February 13, 2025, from 5-7pm at Day & Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort. Memorial contributions may be made in Austin’s honor to the family to assist with the funeral expenses. Messages of condolence may be left at www.dayandgenda.com.
