Austin Durant Obituary

Austin Lee Durant, age 28 of Tampa, Florida passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa. He was born on February 4, 1995 in Tampa, Florida to Timothy Durant and Lorie Gibbs. Austin was employed as a Tow Truck Driver for Towpros Towing and Recovery in Tampa. When not working, Austin could be found enjoying shooting pool with friends, working on cars, fishing, spending time at "The Mud Hole" or even preparing a full 3 course meal after getting off of work at home, which was usually around 1:00 AM in the morning. Austin had a huge heart, was a very giving young man and will be sadly missed by all.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his parents, Timothy (Staci) Durant of Tampa, FL and Lorie (John) Daniel of Dahlonega, GA; his siblings, Benjamin Drake, Stephen Gibbs, Nicholas Durant, Marie (Jesse) Looper and A.J. Little; his grandparents, Jerry and Carolyn Gibbs and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends.
A Celebration of Life Service for Austin is scheduled for Saturday, October 28, 2023 from 9 am - 10:30 am at New Walk Church, 35008 Sr 54, Zephyrhills, FL 33541. Arrangements have been entrusted to Florida Mortuary and Cremation Service, Tampa, Florida.
