Austin Douglas Julien, age 24, returned to the angels on September 23, 2021.
Austin was welcomed to this world on April 14, 1997 to Douglas and Diane Julien in Detroit, Michigan. He was the youngest son, but would grow up to be the tallest of all his siblings (a fact that thrilled him to no end). Austin was known for his large, warm hugs and being a genuinely loving and compassionate person. He loved to make his friends and family laugh with his spot-on impersonations, and always had a good joke to share. It was impossible not to love Austin once you had met him. Austin was a great athlete, playing basketball in high school and beyond, he also loved swimming, working out, and playing cornhole. However, the greatest joy in Austin's life was his family. Family was everything to him, and he especially was proud of being an uncle to his beloved nieces and nephews.
Austin will be forever remembered by all who loved him.
Austin is survived by his beloved parents Douglas and Diane.
He is also survived by his loving siblings; Brother James (Amber) and their children Kaylee, Hayden, Ava, and James. Sister Holly and her child Avery. Brother Adam (Brittany) and their children Ayva, and Mia. Brother Kyle (Lena) and their children Isaac, Eliana, Paris, Kyle Jr., and Lana. Sister Jessica. Brother Joey (Kayla) and their children Ava and Mayah.
Cherished grandparents Jim and Yolanda, and Darlene and Hank.
Dear uncles and aunts; Aunt Laura (Todd) and their children Nicolas and Tommy. Aunt Julie (Jon) and their children Samantha and Madison. Aunt Mary and her children Jimmy and Trisha. Uncle Don (Ronnie) and their children Zach, Joseph, and Jamie. Uncle Kevin (Janet). Aunt Kim (Mike) and their children Zach, and Matt.
Loved honorary step-dad Joe Murray.
Other aunts and uncles; Uncle Jim (Mary) and their child Geoff. Uncle Jim and children Rosanne and Jenny. Uncle John (Angie). Aunt Janet (Rob) and their children Jaqueline, Kate, and Kristine. Uncle Tom (Mellisa).
Austin was preceded in passing by his beloved Uncle Jim, and Grandma Jane.
Visitation to be held on Thursday, September 30 from 2-8PM. Celebration of Life to be held on Friday, October 1 at the funeral home. Instate, or gathering time, 10:00 AM. Service at 11:11 AM. Procession to Resurrection Cemetery will follow the service, with committal and burial taking place at 12:30 at the cemetery.

So sorry for your loss. I can´t imagine the grief you are feeling. We didn´t know Austin well, he was my son´s elementary penpal and he played basketball with him for a sort while. You are in our thoughts and prayers
