Austin Charles Miner, age 98, of Spring Hill Florida, passed away on March 6, 2026.

He was born in Detroit Michigan yet lived most of his life in Florida. Born to Elsie and Carlton Miner he was one of seven children, all of which have passed on before him.

He was married to his wife of 61 years, Hazel Willoughby Miner, who passed on before him in 2014.

He is survived by his two daughters and one son, Lisa Golden (Rick), Chuck Miner, Jr. (Christine), and Anne Withington.

He has 9 grandchildren: Nathan Golden, Ben Golden, Emily Calton, Stephen Golden, Mark Withington, Sarah Withington, Katherine DeCaprio, Caroline Willis, and Austin Miner; and 11 great grandchildren Amelia Golden, Molly Golden, Caydence Calton, Lexis Calton, Autumn Calton, Titus Calton, Fletcher Golden, Ivor Golden, Maeve Golden, Calia Willis, and Baby Boy Willis.

Friends are welcome to join for the service which will be held at Cornerstone Baptist Church (13171 Tara Street Spring Hill, Florida) at 12:00 PM on Saturday, March 21st. Chuck will be laid to rest at the Florida National Cemetery at a later date.

Chuck accomplished many things in his life. He loved baseball, coaching, and being an educator for over 50 years but he would tell you that his greatest accomplishment in life was coming to know Jesus as his personal Savior. BEHOLD NOW IS THE ACCEPTED TIME. NOW IS THE DAY OF SALVATION. (2 Corinthians 6:2b)
