Austin Leigh Stiver, age 37, was born on February 11, 1988, in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He passed away on Monday, June 23, 2025, at Rapides General Medical Center.
Services will be held at a later date.
Austin was an avid outdoorsman who cherished the natural world around him. His love for fishing and hunting provided him with joy and an escape into nature. Austin also enjoyed playing cornhole, playing darts, kayaking, and dancing, activities that brought him much happiness and allowed him to create lasting memories with friends and family.
He leaves behind a loving family, including his mother, Patricia Roberts; his sons, Aiden Stiver and Tanner Stiver; his sisters, Meagan Louviere and Sarah Dunagan; his cousin, Tiesha King; his aunt, Nancy King; his nieces, Emily Lavergne, Savannah Stiver, and Laila Louviere; his nephew, Andrew Lavergne, II and a host of extended family and friends.
Austin is preceded in death by his sons, Jaxson Stiver and Brantley Stiver; his sister, Nicole Cazares; and his grandparents, Gilbert Cazares and Ruth Cazares.
His memory and spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved him, as they remember his vibrant personality and the moments they shared together. Austin Leigh Stiver will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
