So sorry for your loss. My deepest sympathies to the family. Many fond memories of Uncle A.V. at holiday gathering's and family time at the lake. He will be missed. May God comfort you in this time of grief.

He was the only grandpa I knew and count myself extremely lucky and proud to call him that. I never met a person that did not love and respect him.
I have countless memories of my grandpa from a young child to an adult. My favorites are those when I spent my summers with my grandparents. I got to do and learn things that many of my peers did not. From fishing, camping, driving boats, riding mopeds, water skiing, rafting down the Rio Grande, talking over the HAM radio, square dancing, playing cards, growing butter beans and throwing stones (not rocks) to much more than I can list out.
I love my Grandpa Mac and always have and will have a special place in my heart for him.
Love you Grandpa!

When I was about 10, I bought dad a little statue. It was a person with an inscription that said, "Anyone can be a father, but it takes someone special to be a dad". He kept that little statue right next to his favorite coffee cup, on his ham radio desk, for years. And -dad he will always be. I miss him already. But because he was a daddy and not just a father, I have so many cherished memories. I will always remember our times together. Love you daddy. Reva Joy.

I miss you Dad. You were the best role model and taught me so much. I have great memories of Hawaii, Washington DC and you helping build our house. I miss the dinners and cards with you and Mom. We truly love you, 4R's, V & C

A wonderful Father and great man. I love my Dad and appreciate the countless things he taught and gave me. Words fail to describe my thoughts and feelings at this time. He loved my Mom (Phyllis) AND my Mom (Robbie) deeply. They loved him and Mom (Robbie) was faithful, kind, and diligent in lovingly caring for him throughout his difficult final weeks and months.
Dad has been, and will be, a source of many stories and memories.
