It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved daughter, Ava Mae Bredda, on Friday, December 27, 2024. We were blessed to have Ava with us for two hours and one minute before she peacefully took her last breath in her parents' arms. Born with Trisomy 18, a rare chromosomal condition, Ava touched our lives in ways that words cannot fully express. Weighing three pounds five ounces and measuring 16.25 inches, she was a precious little one whose brief time with us will forever be cherished.
Despite her short time with us, Ava made a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of meeting her. She is survived by her parents, Ashton Bredda and Hannah Redetzke; grandparents, Kurtis and Tanya Bredda and Doug and Darla Redetzke; uncles, Orion Bredda, Roman Bredda, Matt (Brittany) Redetzke, Mike (Gina) Redetzke, and Sam Redetzke; aunts, Olivia Bredda, Izabella Bredda, and Rachael Redetzke; as well as great-grandparents and cousins. She was preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Betty Redetzke; and great-grandfather, Clarence "Shorty" Kopp.
Though we mourn our loss deeply, we find comfort in the love and memories we shared and in knowing that our little one is now in the arms of angels.
A memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. until the time of service, all at the funeral home. Online condolences may be expressed at www.petersonkraemer.com.
We will forever hold you in our hearts, our sweet baby Ava.
