Payne Funeral ChapelAva Mae Probst, 94, of Memphis, Missouri passed away Monday, June 23, 2025, at the Scotland County Hospital in Memphis, Missouri.
She was the daughter of Charles Edward and Pauline Evelyn (Mason) Campbell. With the exception of the two years living in Iowa, she lived her entire life in Scotland County and attended Scotland County schools. She first married Rex Eastin. They had one son, Michael. On April 16, 1955, she married Julian Lee Probst. They had two sons, Danny and David. In addition, Julian had a son Dale, from former marriage.
Ava’s hobbies included crafting, woodworking, and crocheting.
Ava is survived by three sons: Michael and Tammy Eastin of Gillette Wyoming, Dale and Leola Bogan of Kenosh, Utah, and David and Denise Probst of Memphis Missouri; a daughter-in-law: Leanna Probst of Milton, Iowa; 21 Grandchildren; and numerous Great- Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Julian, one son, Danny Probst, one great-grandson, and twin great-granddaughters in infancy.
