Averie Lashun Baldwin, a beautiful soul who made a brief but memorable mark on this world, was welcomed into the lives of her loving family on October 17, 2025, in Albany, Georgia. Sadly, she departed this life on the same day, leaving behind a legacy filled with love and cherished memories, all felt deeply by those who were fortunate enough to know her.
Averie’s short life was surrounded by the warmth of her devoted parents, Rashone Baldwin and Ajanae Simone Perkins, who held her close during her final moments at Phoebe Putney Hospital. Their unyielding love for their daughter was palpable, echoing through the soft whispers of hope and comfort in her final hours.
She is lovingly remembered by her adoring sister, Ava Tooks, who will forever hold the memory of their bond in her heart. Averie's grandparents, Thishun Baldwin, and Kim & Mike Felton; uncles, Makhil Perkins and Jaquiez Harris, and her aunts, Akeelah Ellis and Precious Ellis, whose lives were graced by her innocent presence. In the tapestry of her life, these relationships were threads woven together with love, laughter, and dreams for the future.
Averie was preceded in death by her great grandmother, Earnestine Baldwin.
