Avery Eugene Jackson born September 14, 1966 passed away on October 9th 2025 at his residence in Oak Ridge, TN He served in the United States army and was a former employee of Athens products of many years.
He is proceeded in death by his father Lonnie Jackson his mother Floria Jarrett Jackson, two sisters Eva Bazel and Leatrice McDermott, nephews Ron Bazel and Isiah Parris and uncle and aunt Buford and Geraldine Jackson.
He leaves his memories with a special niece Evita Chauntain Golden (Eddie) and a special nephew French Samuel Lovell Bazel (Aleshia) one sister Zenetta Moss Boyd (Arnold) close great nieces Keeaira Poteet (Markeece) Shyla Poteet and Evashta White close great nephews Jamaya Bazel and Jakilen Bazel and a host of great- great nieces, great -great nephews and cousins, uncles, Michael Williams, French Jarrett (Betty) aunt Lorene Goins(JD) close cousin Darlene Jarrett special friends Carl Lowary Melvin Davis (Joyce), Edwin Cates, John Moss and Misty Cranfield.
Memorial service will be held Friday, October 17, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of M.D. Dotson and Sons Funeral Home – Athens, TN.
