Visitation will be at the funeral home from 3 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, January 12th, 2025. Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 13th, 2025 at Russellville First Assembly of God.

Avona Beth Kasselman went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Friday, January 3rd, 2025, at Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock. Visitation with her family present will be on Friday, January 12th, 2025, from 3:00 to 5:00 PM at Humphrey Funeral Chapel. A private committal service will be held at Center Valley Memorial Gardens under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service. A Celebration of Life Service is planned for 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 13th, 2025, at Russellville First Assembly with Pastor Chris Bradley officiating.
The daughter of Herman & Floy (Taylor) Keener, Avona was born February 10th, 1955, in
Russellville, AR. She married Monty W. Kasselman on May 1st, 1999, in Russellville. Avona was preceded in death by her parents, brothers David and Donnie Keener, a nephew William Brent Keener and father and mother in laws, Wayne and Mary Ann Kasselman.
Those left to cherish her memories are her husband, Monty W. Kasselman, daughter Misti Bradley (Mark), and son Jeremy Chansley (Emma). Mother-in-law Virginia Kasselman, Sister-in-laws Sharon Keener, Beverly Keener and Marcy Kasselman, Nieces Melanie Keener, Mandy Keener and Nephew Michael Keener and family. Grandchildren (10): Tyler Duvall (Fiancé Amy Volz), Alli Beth Bradley, Wesley Bradley (Kallie), Spencer Bradley (Sofie), Sebastian, Aislin, Gabriel, Zayden, Felix, and Emmanual Chansley. Great grandchildren (4): AvaKay Duvall, AJ Volz, Eleanor Bradley, Oaklyn Miller, and numerous extended family and friends.
Avona was a vibrant member of the Russellville business community, having worked in the local banking industry for more than 30 years in marketing and business development. Among her many endeavors, Avona worked on the Arkansas Hospice Capital Campaign Committee that built and established the Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home. Active with the Russellville Junior Auxiliary, and past member of the Coordinating Committee for Annual ValleyFest, she helped raise thousands of dollars for the Boys & Girls Clubs of the River Valley. Avona was an integral part of the success of these organizational events and highly sought after for her keen attention to detail and tireless service.
Avona's faith and her family were the most important in her life. She absolutely adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She spent as much time as possible enjoying life and making memories with them. She and Monty deepened their faith in God and His Word worshipping with their church family at Russellville First Assembly. She was a great cook, loved to travel, in particular cruising, and frequently rearranged her home with an exquisite talent for interior decorating. Avona had a servant's heart and was passionate about helping people, particularly seniors. In 2006, she co-founded amCare In-Home Personal Care with her husband, Monty Kasselman, and was personally involved with its daily operation until her passing.
