Azelia Duet Obituary
Azelia T. "Sis" Duet, 82, a native of Kinder, LA and a resident of Carencro, LA, passed away on Tuesday, May 6, 2025.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Monday, May 12, 2025 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Galliano, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am with burial to follow in Cheramie Cemetery, Galliano, LA.
She is survived by her daughters, Dolly A. Duet and Rochelle D. Clark (Joshua); grandchildren, Zeke L. Duet, Haley M. Duet, Jacob D. Clark (Ashley) and Hunter L. Clark (Ashlyn); great grandchildren, Quinn M. Clark, and Marley M. Clark; brother, Cleveland Trahan (the late Betty) and sisters. Dorothy T. Dupuis (the late Houston) and Patricia T. Benoit (the late Harold).
She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell P. Duet; daughter, Dana Lynn Duet; parents, Joseph Trahan Sr. and Eunice Credeur Trahan; brothers, Olizime Lejune, Clifton Trahan, Joseph Trahan Jr., Ray Trahan, Edward Trahan and Larry Trahan; father-in-law, Albert F. Duet and mother-in-law, Nancy Danos Duet.
