She is survived by her husband, Joel Rountree, sons, Henry and James Rountree, daughters Anna and Sarah Rountree, mother, Vonnie Bailey, brother, Anthony Bailey Jr. (Nikki Bailey), grandmother, Mary Humphrey. Azure was preceded in death by her father, Anthony Bailey.
The First Baptist Church worship center will open at 3:00 pm Sunday, August 24, 2025 where Azure will lie in state until the funeral hour.
The funeral will be held on Sunday, August 24, 2025, from 4:00pm until 5:00 pm with Dr. John Waters and Pastor Keith Hagan
officiating.
Interment will be private.
Pallbearers will be Stephen Rountree, Thomas Fallon, Jonny Owens, Anthony Bailey, Bryan Doughty and D.J. Vickery.
The family requests that contributions be made to the First Baptist Church Statesboro, Children's ministry in lieu of flowers.

Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home and Crematory of Statesboro are in charge of the arrangements.

John and Barbara Hodges are keeping Azure and Anna´s family in our thoughts and prayers. We have fond memories of Azure as she was one of our daughter´s best friends while they attend Georgia Southern. Azure was an attendant at our daughter´s wedding and I can see her having so much fun at the reception. She stepped on to the dance floor along and began clogging, holding up her long dress to the delight of all of us. Wonderful memories of a precious child of God. So very sorry she and Anna were taken way too soon. Prayers for all whose lives were touch by Azure Bailey Roundtree. Sending love.

Our Mosely family is devastated by the loss of Azure and Anna. We are comforted in the knowledge that they are both in heaven today. The Rountree family is being remembered through prayers of comfort for the losses of their loved ones.
