B. Jean Cochran, 86, passed away Sunday, January 4, 2026 at IU Health Methodist Hospital. She was born July 13, 1939 in Lewisville, Indiana to Walter and Belva (Geigla) Cochran.
Betty was employed at the Porthole restaurant for 10 years. She also worked for Westminster for 6years and the old senior citizens center for 4 years. Betty also volunteered at the new senior citizens center for 10 years. Betty’s hobbies included playing volleyball and reading.
Those left to cherish Betty’s memory are her 2 sons, Bill Wall Jr. of New Castle and Dean Dishman of New Castle; grandson, Tyler Dishman; sister, Pat Millis; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents Betty was preceded in death by her sister and 2 nephews.
