Baby Octavia Shelton Obituary
Baby girl Octavia Anna Marie Shelton was born and gained her angels wings on September 15, 2024, in Lubbock, Texas. Octavia is so very loved by her dad and mom Justin and Kyla Zamora Shelton of Portales, NM, and her God parents Micheal and Tarah Moya , Jessica Ramirez, and Santiago Gallegos. Also left to love and miss her are her maternal grandparents Randy and Carol Zamora of Portales, paternal grandmother Janice Alexander of New Orleans, Louisiana, paternal grandfather Leon Alexander III, great-grandfather Pablo Zamora, great-grandmother Kay Wilcox, and great-grandparents Cecil and Henry Johnson and Glen and Deborah Jackson. Also surviving are Octavia's 2 aunts Nika Shelton and Shanee Wilcox, and 2 uncles: Brent Wilcox and Sonny Wilcox along with many other cousins, and relatives.
Octavia was welcomed into heaven by her paternal grandfather Isaac Charles Stubbs Jr, great grandparents Willie May Stubbs, Isaac Charles Stubbs Sr, Esther Zamora, and one uncle Leon Alexander IV.
Funeral services will be 10:00 am Saturday, September 28, 2024 at the Chavez Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Richard Terrell officiating. Interment will follow at the Fort Sumner Cemetery with Michael Moya, Santiago Gallegos, Will Watts, Brenton Williamson, and Barrett Williamson serving as pallbearers. The family requests for everyone to wear purple in memory of Octavia.
