Bailey Jo Boswell

Bailey Jo Boswell, 36, of Meriden, KS, died Saturday, January 10, 2026, from injuries in an auto accident near Edgerton, KS. Bailey was born July 7,1989, in Topeka, KS, the daughter of Toni Rene Russell and Delbert Ray "Del" White. She was a 2007 graduate of Silver Lake High School and was a 2008 graduate of B-Street School of Hair Design in Topeka. She worked as a beautician and cosmetologist for Beauty Brands and as a manager at Walmart in Topeka. She currently worked as a service manager at Lawrence Kia in Lawrence, KS. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Silver Lake, Silver Lake, KS.

Bailey had a love for music and dancing and was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys football team. She was a gifted photographer and had an exceptional talent for photographing sunrises, sunsets, and storms. She was a dedicated mother, giving all of her love and devotion to her son, Jaxon, who was the love and purpose of her life.

Bailey is survived by her son, Jaxon Boswell, Meriden, KS; her mother and step-father, Toni and Kelly Mahana, Silver Lake, KS; her father and step-mother, Del and Paula White, Meriden, KS; maternal grandparents, Sandy and David Russell, Topeka, KS; paternal grandmother, Janet White, Meriden, KS; four sisters, Lacy (Luke) Perry, Madison Heights, MI; Morgan (Dawson) Saia, Gretna, NE; Riley (Sam) Stowe, Kansas City, MO; MacKenzie Allen, Topeka, KS; two brothers, Cameron (Katie) White, Topeka, KS; Mik (Whitney) Barancik, Lindsborg, KS; nieces, nephews and extended family. She was preceded in death by a sister, Rachel Swanson.

Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM, Monday, January 19, 2026, at First Baptist Church of Silver Lake, 3439 NW Hoch Rd., Silver Lake, KS. Visitation will be 10:00 – 11:00 AM before the service at the church. Burial will be at Meriden Cemetery, Meriden, KS. Memorials suggested to a continued care fund, for benefit of Jaxon Boswell.
