It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Bailey Ryan Iwema, who lived and died here in his home of Brookings Oregon. He fought a battle none of us ever could have imagined he was fighting. He left this world far too soon. Bailey was a beloved son, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew, grandson, friend, and so much more. His kindness and loving spirit touched the lives of everyone around him.

Those who knew Bailey will remember him for his warm heart, genuine smile, his goofiness and the way he cared deeply for the people around him. He had a presence that made others feel seen valued, heard and appreciated. He could light up a room just by walking in. Everyone knew Bailey and always welcomed him with a warm hello and an energy that could match his. His absence leaves a void that can never truly be filled.

Bailey is survived by his beautiful mother Lora, his brothers Aaron and me (Louis Delgado), his sister-in-law Brandi, as well as his nieces and nephews on both sides of the family, his aunts, uncles, his grandma, and his cousins. He also left as well countless friends who will forever hold his memory close. His life, though shorter than we all wished, will continue to inspire love, laughter, and compassion in the hearts of everyone that knew him

A celebration of Bailey's life will be held at a later date, where friends and family will gather to honor his memory and share stories of the joy he brought into their lives.

Though we mourn his loss, we also give thanks for the time we had with him. His spirit will live on in the love we carry forward.

Written with love,

His brother, Louis Delgado.
