Barbara Ann Arndt, 82, of Columbia, Missouri, died on June 25, 2025.
She was born October 28, 1942, in Cairo, Illinois, to Herbert Budde and Katherine (Parks) Budde. Barbara worked for many years in healthcare at University Medical Center–Columbia, Regional Hospital, and Bothwell Hospital.
On August 24, 1968, she married John A. Arndt. Together they raised three children: John E. Arndt of Osage Beach, Missouri, and Jeffrey Arndt of Fulton, Missouri. Their daughter, Jessica Arndt, preceded her in death.
Barbara is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews, all of which she loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Linda; her brother, Fred; her husband, John; and her daughter, Jessica.
A private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Barbara's to a charity of the donor's choice.
