Barbara Ann Arnold, age 88, of Surrency passed away Friday, October 17, 2025 at her residence under the care of Comfort Care Hospice.
Mrs. Arnold was born August 8, 1937 in Pierce County to the late Vernon Smith and the late Mollie Gamble Smith. She was a member of Zion Church of God and was a homemaker. Mrs. Arnold was preceded in death by her husband, Miriam Leon Arnold; son, Vernon Arnold; grandchild, Jonathan Starrick; and a son-in-law, Mikeal Starrick.
Survivors include her daughter, Gwen Starrick of Surrency; son, Lynn (Melissa) Arnold of Surrency; grandchildren, Matthew Starrick, Megan (Shawn) Dowers, Lyndsey (Weston) Skinner and Jody (Haley) Arnold; and six great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Zion Church of God with Rev. Danny Horne, Rev. Ronnie Rentz and Rev. Shawn Dowers officiating.
Interment will follow in Zion Church of God Church Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Matthew Starrick, Jody Arnold, Lee Fowler, Caleb Fowler, Ryan Perry and Shawn Dowers.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
