Barbara Augusta "Bobby" Barone

Barbara Augusta "Bobby" Brewer Barone age 87 of Fort Payne, Alabama died on Sunday, April 27, 2025 at Riverview Medical Center after a short illness. Services are scheduled for Friday, May 2, 2025 at Our Lady of The Valley located at 2910 Gault Ave. N, Fort Payne, AL. There will be a public viewing from 11 am until 1 pm. A Rosary Service will take place at 12:30 during the visitation. A Traditional Catholic Mass will take place from 1 to 2 pm, followed by an interment at Mountain View Memory Gardens. A reception will be held at the church from 3 to 4 pm.
Survivors include her children, Kim Litt(Joseph), Tina Moon(Bob), Nick Barone(Lesley), Dianna Schriver(Rob), sister, Susan Zeitvogel, grandchildren, Tricia Poe(Jimmy), Rick Baxter(Stephanie), Kenny Moon, Kevin Moon(Paula Correll), Patrick Barone(Becca), Katie Barone, Kristina Collazo(Sean Walroth), Sabastain Collazo(Audrey Turnbull), great-grandchildren, Tiffanie O'Neal(Robert Baker), Alex O'Neal(Maddie), Austin Baxter, Skylar Baxter, Audrianna Collazo, Roman Walroth, Tyler Barone, Owen Barone, Isla Barone, great great-grandchildren, Rosie Baker and Lu Baker.
Bobby was born July 18, 1937 in Fortress, VA to parents, Floyd William and Florence Anne Maynard Brewer. She graduated high school and spent some time training to be a Nurse, before being a mother became her priority. That's when she chose to be a stay-at-home mother and a "professional volunteer". Whether you knew her as the Girl Scout Leader, Angel tree coordinator, CASA volunteer, member of the Gardening club, Catholic Women's Club member or supporter of the SPCA, she was busy loving and helping people. She loved her family and church family and loved sharing candy to brighten the day of those she encountered. Gone from their sight but forever in their hearts and minds. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Joseph (Jose') Barone, and granddaughter, Alicia Collazo.
