Francesco Barone Obituary
on Sunday morning, October 6, 2025, at St. Ann's Hospital in Westerville, Ohio. He was
only six days away from his 86 th birthday.
Francesco is from Sicily, Italy and eventually made his way to Deer Park, New York. There
he lived for many years, working painting trucks and building a life for his family. His final
place of residency was Pickerington, Ohio. Here he enjoyed watching his grandchildren
grow up, especially his grandson Francesco who was named after him. He truly loved his
family and being around them.
Francesco preceded in death by his wife Leonarda. He is survived by his children Gaetano
Barone, and Gaspare Barone. His daughter-in-law Ilene Barone. His grandchildren
Francesco Barone, Jessica Armet, and John Armet (his wife Summer). His great
grandchildren, Blake, Delaney, and Dean Armet.
Viewing is on Monday, October 13, 2025, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at Dwayne R. Spence
Funeral Home. The service is will begin at 1:00 pm, and the burial will follow directly
after at the Violet Cemetery.
