Barbara Mae Becker

Barbara Mae Becker, 84, passed away Saturday, February 7, 2026 at Grand Plains Skilled Nursing. She was born on March 13, 1941 in Mcpherson to Clarence and Dorotha (Hibler) Larson. Clarence passed when Barbara was 12 years old and her mother married Oscar Wendt. Barbara married Richard Wayne Becker on November 6, 1959 in McPherson. He preceded her in death on November 17, 2025.

Barbara attended McPherson High School. She was a homemaker and kept the books for Becker Rentals and Becker & Son Roofing. She enjoyed collecting quilts, teddy bears and other small trinkets, taking care of her family and helping raise her grandchildren, cooking, gardening, renovating rentals, maintaining books, reading magazines and doing word search puzzles.

She is survived by her sons, Kevin (Stephanie) Becker of Pratt and Keith Becker of Derby; daughter in-law, Mary Jane Becker of Pratt; nine grandchildren, Kyle (Stacie) Becker, Cody (Jenny) Becker, Kaylee Becker, Carson Becker, Cheyenne (Josh) Langford, Blake (Brianna) Becker, Braydon Becker, Breann (Josh) Norlin and Adison Becker; two stepsisters, Carol Hall and Shirley Smock; 16 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Oscar Wendt; husband, Richard Becker; son, Thomas Becker; brothers, Wayne Larson and Larry Larson; stepbrother, Terry Wendt; and great-granddaughter, Mila Jane Ibarra.

Visitation will be Sunday 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. at Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Road, Pratt. Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, February 16, 2026 at Larrison Mortuary, Pratt with Pastor Mike McGovney presiding. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, Pratt.
